Kary Bheemaiah

Capgemini Invent

Kary Bheemaiah is Vice President and Global Lead of Physical AI at Capgemini Invent, where he works at the frontier of one of the most important shifts in enterprise technology: the movement of AI from digital systems into the physical world.

As companies move beyond experimentation and begin deploying AI into factories, infrastructure, supply chains, autonomous systems, and industrial operations, Kary’s work focuses on the real question senior leaders now face: how to make AI scale safely, responsibly, and commercially in complex real-world environments.

He is also an Executive Fellow at the World Economic Forum, where he leads the Technological Convergence initiative and serves on the Global Future Council on Autonomous Systems. This gives him a unique global perspective on how AI, robotics, automation, data, regulation, and operating models are converging to reshape industries, labour markets, and competitive advantage.

Before joining Capgemini, Kary worked as a product lead at an AI startup and as an economic researcher for the EU Horizon 2030 project, focusing on the intersection of emerging technology and labour dynamics. He is the author of The Blockchain Alternative, a TEDx speaker, and his analysis has been featured in MIT Technology Review, WIRED, and Harvard Business Review.

For Webit 2026 Sofia, Kary brings a timely and highly strategic perspective on the next phase of AI adoption: Physical AI as the bridge between intelligent systems and real-world industrial transformation. His insights will be especially valuable for senior executives, investors, policymakers, and technology leaders looking to understand how autonomous systems, industrial AI, compliance, and new operating models will define the next decade of business execution.
