Based in London, Andy is the vice president of digital solutions for MTV Networks Europe (MTVNE) and Viacom Brand Solutions International (VBSI), the commercial division that monetizes Viacom’s global digital assets with +300 sites across vertical categories in online video and music entertainment, gaming and youth, as well as kids and family. Andy is responsible for the creation and development of the department of Digital Solutions, which consists of digital sales and partnerships, strategy, and creative.
Prior to Viacom, Andy was the global digital strategy director at Carat International/Isobar, the global management team based in London HQ which handled international clients eg Philips, Adidas, Renault, European Union and various other multinational clients. Andy was responsible for leading digital business strategy, digital media planning and buying, and thought leadership across Carat’s digital offices in Europe, as well as team organizational management.
Andy was also formerly a management consultant for the Swedish Advertising Association (Sveriges Reklamförbund), and started his career with Universal Music/Interscope Records, McCann-Erickson, and Tonic360/JWT.
Andy is a frequent public speaker at international digital media and innovation conferences in Europe, US, and Asia. Named one of the "20 Rising Media Stars to Watch" by "Media Magazine in 2004, Andy has published over 50 articles in digital media strategy and behavioral targeting, and a collaborative book, "The Changing Communication Paradigm," in November 2005.
