Responsibilities include development of the worldwide Information Management & Analytics (IM&A) technology and service strategy, innovation strategy, Big Data strategy, providing thought leadership and strategic advice to customers, leadership of regional and client facing chief technologists, establishing of working relationship with IM&A strategic technology partners and innovation collaboration with HP Labs, HP Software, and HP Enterprise Group business units.
Previously, Dragan was a CTO Big Data Analytics in IM&A responsible for leading the Big Data strategy, setting the technology direction, and developing the solution portfolio including business development and building of new technology competencies; providing thought leadership and innovative Big Data solutions to strategic customers based on the HP information management portfolio of Vertica, Autonomy, and Hadoop.
Previously, Dragan was a Sr. Technology Strategist in the HP Software CTO Office responsible for the HP Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) strategy and long term planning. Dragan’s responsibilities included advancing the Business Intelligence long-term product and services strategy, establishing HP-wide EIM & BI strategies and portfolio, participating in strategic customer initiatives, and providing customers with thought leadership and industry expertise in designing innovative business solutions.
Dragan joined HP in 2007 from Teradata as a Practice Principal HP Information Management Practice (IMP). In this role, Dragan was responsible for providing emerging technology solutions for complex, operational analytic requirements in VLDB space and management of large-scale EDW/BI consulting efforts at the top-tier financial services institutions.
Dragan has over 25 years of management consulting, solution delivery, and software engineering experience in improving business outcomes through implementation of revenue-enhancing technology solutions in financial services, insurance, and other industry domains. Dragan resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife Rebeca and their two daughters Corinne and Audrey.
