Ferruh Gurtas

Webit Speaker, Corporate Affairs Director - Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Intel

Ferruh Gurtas has a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from METU and MSc degree in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College, London. After working as a software engineer in Nortel, Ferruh joined Intel Corporation in 1997 and has taken various roles in different countries in reseller channel, sales and marketing, business development, and operations departments. Most recently he is working as the Corporate Affairs Director for Middle East Turkey and Africa (META) region over the past 7 years; responsible from government affairs and CSR programs. He represents Intel Corporation at Global Entrepreneurship Program of US State Department and at MENA Entrepreneurship Advisory Group of WEF as one of the two co-chairs. Recently he was involved in creation and launch of youth entrepreneurship program that is being deployed in various countries across META region.
