Professor Kewene-Hite (pronounced: K-1-A-height) first purposefully engaged business in 1985 when he started paying his own way through Harvard University by selling computers and other electronics. Over the years he has worked in startups and major technology companies in the Silicon Valley and around the world. He was a Technology Evangelist at Apple, and Director of Strategic Planning and New Business Development at NEC Computers. He has worked in every corner of a technology company from technical support to finance to business development to CEO. He is now an Affiliate Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD where he teaches a real-time role-play course on how to turn around a failing company, he teaches in Executive Education programs, and he also created bootcamps that teach participants how to evolve step-by-step from concept to successfully pitching for investment inside 48 hours. A science and technology bootcamp and mentoring program that he co-created at INSEAD, partnering MBA students with scientists and their intellectual properties, won the AMBA Innovation Award in 2012. Professor Kewene-Hite actively consults to governments, family businesses, and companies of all sizes across industries.
