Webit Speaker, Group Director - Qtel Group

Tauseef has  over 15 years of experience in strategy, M&A, corporate development and innovation with leading organizations such as Bell Canada, Siemens AG and Qatar Telecom (Qtel)  in MENA, Asia, Europe and North America.

He currently holds the position of Group Director with Qtel Group, where he heads strategy, launch operations, finance and  corporate& business development for a newly formed unit focused on emerging digital services including cloud , mobile finance, digital media & advertising and OTT communications across Qtel Group‘s footprint. Tauseef has been working with Qtel Group since 2005 and has overseen  investments and incubation of ventures in new growth areas exceeding US$ 1 B in total value to-date. He has previously held positions of VP strategy & business development for Qtel Group’s dedicated broadband unit wi-tribe, and Director of Business Development with Qtel Group’s M&A team. Prior to joining Qtel , Tauseef worked with Bell Canada, managing the broadband services portfolio for its enterprise team and corporate development for its retail unit.

Tauseef holds a CFA charter, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business and an electrical engineering degree from UET, Pakistan.
