Tony is a Founder & CEO of about.me (acquired by Aol in 2010), Sphere (acquired by Aol in 2008), and a Founding Member & Venture Partner at True Ventures. Tony serves on the board of WordPress (Automattic), appssavvy, 20x200, CatchFree, StockTwits, KISSmetrics, Coffee & Power, GDGT, Trippy, Smarterer, RescueTime and led/ sourced True's investments in MakerBot, Milk (acquired by Google), Typekit (acquired by Adobe), Assistly (acquired by Salesforce), WeGame (acquired by TAGGED), Connectifier and OnTheAir.
Prior, he was a general partner at VSP, managing investments in Oddpost (acquired by Yahoo!), Iconoculture (acquired by Corporate Executive Board), Danger (acquired by Microsoft), Post Communications (NASDAQ: NTVS) and Stonyfield Farms (acquired by Groupe Danone). Early in his career, Tony spent nine years abroad, working in India, France, and Indonesia with Groupe Danone, focusing on brand extension opportunities through mergers and acquisitions in Southeast Asia.
