He has had responsibility for the P&L and delivering solid growth and profitability for the e-commerce channel of a number of high profile brands in the retail, FMCG and Luxury sectors and has a fair degree of International exposure primarily within EMEA and North America.
A true multi channel player, Martin has owned direct mail, e-commerce, kiosks and call centre channels for a number of brands including Ted Baker, Harrods, Pentland brands (Speedo, Kickers, Boxfresh etc) Burberry and Intersport. In addition he can also bring supplier side experience having worked for one of the UKs leading digital agencies.
Now an independent e-commerce consultant, he is widely considered as a thought leader in e-commerce.
A regular contributor to Retail Week, e-consultancy and other titles, on behalf of the event organisers, he delivers a best practice ‘Doctor’s in’ e-commerce surgery at the global shop.org e-commerce summit in Las Vegas and at Ecommerce expo in London, and he runs an e-commerce masterclass at Online retail and expo in Sydney, Australia. He is also the International judge for the inaugural online retail awards for Australia.
