Laura leads our Data Policy & Trust Practice. She manages Access Partnership’s advocacy and consultancy efforts on privacy, cybersecurity, data and tax policy, intellectual property, and cross-border data flows for some of the world’s largest ICT companies. For 5 years, Laura led Access Partnership’s Global Public Policy team.  Laura is an expert in tech policy and has extensive experience advocating clients’ interests in international forums and advising policy-makers in the US, Europe and Asia on new technologies. 

For over ten years, Laura was president of Sallstrom Consulting until its purchase by Access Partnership. Prior to that, Laura was Director of the Business Software Alliance (Asia Pacific), based in Singapore, and served as the organisation’s global trade manager in Washington, DC. She also worked in the Office of US Trade Representative where she assisted in the negotiation of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and Special 301 intellectual property negotiations.
