Martin Bakardzhiev, Senior Manager at Visa, is responsible for Visa Consulting Services in Bulgaria, as well as for cybersecurity and fraud prevention services for Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria).
Martin Bakardzhiev holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lancaster (UK), a Master’s degree in Financial Sustainability from Groningen (Netherlands), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance. He has nearly 10 years of experience in consulting. He began his career at PwC, where he worked on strategic projects in both the public and government sectors in Bulgaria and abroad. For nearly a year, he was in charge of global compliance policies at Crypto.com. For the past three years, he has been developing the consulting business in the areas of data, risk, and cybersecurity at Visa – the global leader in digital payments.
