Christian Kunz is the Head of eBay’s Advertising business and is responsible for setting the Global Advertising strategy.
Christian has led the team to build one of the top International advertising businesses online over the last 4 years. He has been pivotal in spearheading the introduction of text advertising to all eBay sites. And he successfully revived the display businesses across the international country portfolio. Today Christian is focused on driving eBay’s Global Advertising business into its next growth phase with a unique strategic offering in retail media.
Christian joined eBay in 2005 as Head of European Strategy and Analytics where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, pricing, marketing effectiveness and other strategic projects for the region.
Prior to eBay, Christian was at McKinsey & Company for five years. Christian has a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from MIT and a Masters from the University of Bonn.
Christian lives in Bern with his wife and three young children.
