Most Innovative Smart Cities Platform Award


The Most Innovative Smart Cities Platform Award recognizes the the creativity in finding platforms to solve city management challenges worldwide, including creating an environment where local authorities, startups, businesses, educational providers and citizens actively discuss and participate in the city’s smart transformation.

Eligibility

We welcome entries from the private and the public sector. The following entrants are examples for eligible candidates, due to the nature of this award, it is by no means exhaustive:
- Municipalities and their leaders
- Citizen Representatives Associations
- Public-Private Partnerships
- NGOs

The award entrants must demonstrate that the entry has been developed, operated or been available during and/or by the end of March 2018.

Criteria

The winner will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Level of interactiveness and technology implementation
- Functionality of the platform
- Citizen feedback
- Engagement levels of all stakeholders
- Communication channel efficiency
- Evidence of transparency in decision-making processes
- Achieved results in city transformation (target vs. result)
- Implementation tactics
- All entries must be operating and available during and/or until the end of March 2018


Entry Deadlines & Key Dates

The Deadline for entries is May 15th 2018

Winners will be announced at the Webit Awards Ceremony in Arena Armeec on June 26th 2018
